With a TC Business ID, you can play it safe when it comes to business use of the Internet. You can receive encrypted messages and sign e-mails electronically. The electronic signature becomes invalid in the event of content manipulation or faulty transmission on the Internet.

TC Business ID is a personal certificate, which shows not only your name and your e-mail address, but also the name of the company; i.e. the certificate confirms not only your e-mail address but also and at the same time the association of the certificate holder with the company. As a result, your e-mails are also clearly distinguished from SPAM or phishing e-mails.

 Trust Level

You have a choice: TC Business ID is available in two trust levels – class 2 and class 3. In the case of class 2, the certificate details are checked by means of documents such as an extract from the register of companies and a copy of the applicant's ID card or passport.
In the case of class 3, on the other hand, personal identification of the applicant is required before the certificate is issued.

Certificate Registration and Issuance

It's easy to apply for TC Business ID online. After your successful application, you will receive an e-mail containing detailed instructions about the documents that will be needed for verification. If you decide on a class 3 certificate, with confirmation of personal identity you will be sent the necessary documents.

As soon as we have received and checked all the documents, we will issue the TC Business ID. You will then receive this by e-mail, along with information about how to proceed with the installation of your certificate. You will be notified before the certificate's period of validity expires, so that you can apply for a follow-up certificate in good time.

Please note: to enroll online for a certificate it is required to generate a key pair on your PC locally. Therefore JavaScript has to be enabled. In case of using MS Internet Explorer make sure browser options are set to allow ActiveX controls.

TC Business ID is payable by Visa, MasterCard and American Expess. In addition, you can pay per invoice if the billing address is a European address.
